"Creative problem solving, critical thinking, empathy, self-regulation: all of those things are hot buzzwords for social and emotional learning and are inherently [a part of] the creative mind."--Sasha @ Creative Mornings Dallas

LET'S WORK TOGETHER

My job is to help young artists explore tools and develop a process shaped by their truth. Auditioning is an entirely different beast and sometimes requires an outside eye to help with preparation. Sasha has spent years as a mentee of seasoned professionals and has engaged with their process when working with young artists. In her post grad years, Sasha has dedicated her time to assisting young actors during their audition process. Her students have been accepted to the top BFA programs across the country as well as arts magnet programs throughout Dallas and Interlocken's Shakespeare Summer Program and have also competed as national contenders for the August Wilson Monologue Competition's final round in NYC.

Creative Solutions

Big Thought's Creative Solutions is an arts-as-workforce intervention program for adjudicated youth

Let the young folk aka the young people aka the youth lead you. We may not be able to visit art spaces, Ms. Rona didn't stop them from creating, so don't let her stop you from looking through their art and grooving to their tunes!

TESTIMONIALS

From auditions for musicals to Broadway workshops to film to top B.F.A. programs across the nation, here's what some of her students have to say.

Coaching & Experience: Testimonials

Sasha was my acting coach for Booker T. and she helped me with everything for my audition: playwriting, my monologue, pantomime, masks, the personal interview, design, and cold reading. I learned how to do all of the above with her help and guidance. She me made feel more comfortable working on the audition, so I could do my very best. I think she is one of the best coaches to have because she has you go through each thing fully until you feel ready to do it. So I have to thank her with the best of my ability.
